Started knitting my first cowl/scarf thing. Let's hope it turns out. Really need a ball winder, trying to knit and not get knots is often a close call. Also need a ball winder since I can't carry it around in my purse like this. So much time knitting time wasted when I'm somewhere and could get a row or two done. I know, I know, life's tough. Love my new yarn!
Turtle all finished! Baby likes the eyes! Let's hope those safety eyes really are safe. If I made another, it would be smaller. And green.
Sifton Bog. Not really stroller friendly. We had to move over and "park" every time someone wanted to pass. We're slow.
But worth the drive. Fish at the end, lots and lots of little orange fish in the water. Made my big baby happy.
I must drop by at some point and wind that yarn for you! Somehow you've gotten ridiculously lucky not knotting it! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for the reminder re: Sifton Bog - I love taking walks through there. It's a short walk, and the kids never complain! We went in the spring and the water was up to the boardwalk! Eek!
N took me in the spring. It was the first time I'd ever been & I've lived in London for 5 years.
